MAKING MAGIC
Spanish fashion label, Bershka, placed its foot onto our local shores just recently at ION and saw the launch of its new “Magic” store (the name for Bershka stores around the globe) turning into a pop-up club for cats from the creative and media faculties.

DJ Miso Flamingo’s provided the beats while electronic pixie, Analog Girl, joined in and tweaked the knobs, presenting a special “battle mode” music collaboration – one that was exclusive to the night. A fashion showcase then followed suit as guests were treated to a visual feast of Bershka’s apparel, created by the brand’s 50 dedicated designers. DJ Kesri (otherwise known as one of the chief executives of Royal Sporting House) then paired up with beatboxer Dharni on the console and made good sound whilst the guest continued their feast on the sweets and booze.

The night also saw the launch of two music initiatives - the Bershka DJ Academy and the DJ Playground. And this is where the real action begins…
