Wolfmother joins Guns N’ Roses for Singapore show at Changi Exhibition Centre

With many already eagerly awaiting the chance to witness one of the world’s most quintessential rock bands, Guns N’ Roses, Singapore fans will be excited to know that the Axl Rose and co. will be joined by Australian hard rock act, Wolfmother, as part of the ‘Not In This Lifetime… Tour’ at Changi Exhibition Centre on February 25.

Recently appearing at Rockaway festivalin Malaysia alongside acts that include Scorpions, The Darkness and Wings, Wolfmother has previously supported Guns N’ Roses for U.S. dates in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia as part of the ‘Not In This Lifetime… Tour’, and will be following GNR on their Australia and New Zealand legs of the tour next month.

Helmed by frontman and last-remaining original member, Andrew Stockdale, Wolfmother’s brand of blues-inflected rock and roll has earnt them frequent comparisons with rock legends that include Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, among others. The band’s fourth LP, Victorious, released in February last year, was written and recorded entirely by Stockdale, with the exception of keys and drums, and was regarded as a “return to form” after numerous line-up changes and less-commercially successful releases.

Guns N’ Roses is joined by Wolfmother on February 25 at Changi Exhibition Centre. Tickets available at sistic.com.sg.
