It’s finally here: La Roux’s sizzling hot debut has just dropped so get cued in. La Roux is Elly (with the hair) and Ben (producer/composer), and their music unabashedly recalls the big bleep of ’80s synth-pop. That sound may be all kinds of hyped up right now, but in La Roux’s hands, it finds a new warmth and class. In any case, that haircut had to come from somewhere, eh?
