As you might have heard, Be Your Own Pet is no more (RIP), but its frontispiece, the irrepressible Jemina Pearl, has taken things into her own hands with a brand spanking new solo project. With John Eatherly (also BYOP), she’s re-emerged with a couple of stunning live shows and now, three mint tracks, that are a little garage, a little melodic and a little Karen O. And hell, if it’s good enough for Thurston Moore, it’s good enough for you too.
