Previously known as Poney Poney, Antoine Hilaire and Florent Lyonnet have now been rechristened Jamaica, and are here to get your summer soundtrack sorted. The duo’s debut album, No Problem, which drops next month and which has been produced by Xavier de Rosnay (Justice) and Peter Franco, will come soaked in all manner of sleek pop hooks, rock hard riffs and taut electronic production – the kind that still keeps kids dancing. And for the record, Jamaica has already made its rounds on the festival circuit and Kitsuné comps, and now comes hotly tipped and highly recommended.
