We're seeing a lot of shiny new stores setting up shop all over our island, so we're deciding to narrow the list down for you and shed the spotlight on the ones you should be spending some well-deserved retail therapy time at. (Yeah, we're nice like that.)
Measuring at an impressive 4 450 square feet, DKNY’s newest and largest flagship store in ION Orchard is injecting massive vibes of New York City with its three signature collections – DKNY, Pure and DKNY Jeans. It’s a complete house if DKNY, with its natural wood walls, tables made of white-washed and painted driftwood and white powder-coated niches – it’s New York chic for us without having to spend hard-earned cash for a ticket to the city itself! Wrapped up with a storefront made up of LCD panels screening the brand’s latest runway shows, it’s a mini fashion city within our city!
DKNY is located at ION Orchard, #03-12.
We've seen this UK brand peppered in malls, but here's a big welcome to the opening of its first ever flagship store located right in the heart of Orchard Road! Taking root in the swanky Mandarin Gallery, Paul Smith's standalone boasts its range of Mainland Paul Smith collections, Paul Smith London, PS Jeans and Black Label Collections. It's a much bigger room play with, and it's all done up in a way that combines modern and antique styles to specially create that charm that only Paul Smith could emit. Expect antique furniture and fittings, limestone and light oak flooring, beaded 'pagoda' chandeliers and features that will make you feel like you're in a billion-dollar mansion. Of course it's all about the fashion, and we think they look as good (if not more) than the spanking new store itself!
Paul Smith is located at Mandarin Gallery, #01-08 Mandarin Gallery.
