West Side Jam is heading back for its third year running, promising yet more water sports, friendly competition and yup, beach babes. Adrenalin will be running high with the festival’s triple-wake competition, which sees a crazy mix of wakeboarding, wakeskating and behind-the-boat segments on a skill-challenging obstacle course. Wake competitors from all over the world, like Thailand’s Padiwat Jeamjan, will be down to ride out our waves and compete for sexy prizes, while Gator Boards’ pro wake riders, Erik Lutgert and Kyle Rattray, will also be on hand to impart tips and tricks. Also don’t miss highlights like Quiksilver and Roxy’s Beach Babe Contest, and fringe activities such as banana boat rides, party yachts and non-stop music provided by local and international DJs. Basically, it’ll be one brilliant weekend of sun, sand and sports on water, so prepare to get very wet.

West Side Jam 2010, presented by Maxout Hydrosports, takes place from 5 to 7 March, 8am till late, at Raffles Marina (10 Tuas West Drive). This event is open to public.
