Sundowning. The Party. @ House

Sundowning is the debut feature film from up-and-coming filmmaker Frank Rinaldi and is set for a May 2010 release. Inspired by the Singapore landscape, the film resumes Rinaldi’s run of locally shot films (Funny Guy and LOWbASIC), which have been garnering acclaim on international scene (including a Grand Jury Award for Best Experimental Short at the Slamdance International Film Festival in 2009). Well, the guy sure deserves a party, as does the experimental quarter of local art. And so: happening tonight at Dempsey House, the Sundowning party will feature five bands ad DJs from Singapore, France and UK performing to video installations, while local painters and illustrators will be displaying their work. The night will be a true testament to experimental talent and also looks to be pretty fun.
Check out the Sundowning Party, happening on Saturday, 3 April, at Dempsey House, from 9pm to 2am. Entry is $10 (includes a free gift).
