JUICE September

In your fresh JUICE:
We share sugar, spice and other things nice with Emmy The Great, folk singer, guitar player and our cover girl. Moderat yawn in our faces, Little Boots unburdens her life on us, Infadels invade our office and The Observatory show us their dark side. And as part of your style pie: we cop to the newest looks from Armani Jeans and DKNY Jeans, sit down with Christian Joy and browse the racks at DVLK. There's even an entire story on blogs, just so you always know where to turn to on your lunch break.

Pick up your free copy of JUICE at any of these spots.

Get the Surface To Air x Solve Sundsbo collection at Asylum, 22 Ann Siang Road. Stuff's limited, by the way.

Nirvana's 20-Year-Old Bleach

You know these guys, just as you should know about their sludge-y debut, Bleach - chaotically recorded in 1989 in 30 hours for only $606, gifting us grunge buttons like "Love Buzz", "Negative Creep" and "Blew". Since it's turning 20 this year, its mother Sub Pop is giving it the full reissue treatment. Bleach: Deluxe Edition will come re-mastered, in sweet-ass packaging (Double LP! White vinyl! 48-page booklet!) and bunched with a raw and rare live performance from 1990 at Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon. Relive it.

Bleach: Deluxe Edition gets a release on 3 November. If you can't wait, you can pre-order it by asking Sub Pop.

It Might Get Loud

In view of the dearth of Jack White news on here, check this: he, along with The Edge (U2) and Jimmy Page (your grandfather), will be the subjects of It Might Get Loud, a documentary that traces their various inspirations and learning curves. These guitar virtuosos will be waxing lyrical on their weapons of choice and how they each developed their own sounds and styles, with the whole thing culminating in one big guitar jam - of course.

Keep your fingers crossed for a local release! But for now, you can view its trailer and be its Facebook friend here -
