The White Stripes - Under Great White Northern Lights

After bringing us the bright lights of Blackpool, The White Stripes have now gone over to the other side of the pond to light up and film their journey across the Great White North. As part of their Icky Thump tour package, the Canadian trek saw the duo play in every province, on top of highlights like their surprise gigs on a bus and in a bowling alley, as well as their one-note show (the note was F) and 10th anniversary concert. Expect all that, plus some backstage FUN, on this Emmett Malloy-directed doc, which will more than likely deliver the goods.

The film hits the Toronto Film Festival in September. If you can't be there, cross your fingers for a DVD release. See more teasers.
