The most bizarre thing to happen to Earth and Oklahoma, The Flaming Lips will be coughing up album number 12, Embryonic, on us soon. This time, Wayne Coyne has settled on nothing less than a double album, so that there's "more room to be strange". Of course: the more the merrier. He's also got Karen O, MGMT and "a weird mathematician guy from Germany" guesting on it. And that's just good company.

Embryonic is set for a September release.
